April is the cruelest month…

Spring is teasing me! It’s freezing this morning. And damp. And foggy. Perfect recipe for frizzy hair.

Getting to work on time is challenging enough, but how do you dress for this weather? Freezing temps in the morning and oh, by the way, 65 degrees predicted for the afternoon. Do you know what I will look like by the afternoon? Once the frizz subsides, all that remains is a lifeless coif. Once the fresh morning make-up settles, the dark circles and drab complexion peaks through. Oh, and by the way, the outfit I so carefully crafted to deter the morning chill, will be useless by afternoon.

So, how will I feel around 2pm when I want to step out of the office to get some fresh air? Like a withered mushroom.

I’ll never master the art of spring. Ugh.
