Deep Pore Scrub-A-Dub-Dub!!

Never been much of an Avon girl but I just got this fantastic new Deep Pore Cleanser from my friendly Avon lady and I felt compelled to share my opinions on it. Here’s the skinny:

Clearskin Professional Deep Pore Cleanser

The stuff is AWESOME!! True to form, Avon’s price is fairly inexpensive — about $10. AND, it seems like it will last forever because you only need a pea size dollop per use. I have been using it for a week and I haven’t even made a dent in the tube.

Now, just to make sure we are clear, this is how I like my skincare — THOROUGH. I have large pores and true combo skin (with oily and dry patches) and a lovely reddish hue on the outside of my nostrils that is just enough to make me feel like Rudolf, year-round (no offense, pal).

So, not only do I love to exfoliate, but I NEED to exfoliate regularly or else my pores make like weeds and GROW GROW GROW!

I have a medium olive complexion and I am partial to the tingling sensation that makes me feel like a million little oompa loompas are working away to deep clean my pores…What’s more, I am consistently left with that healthy, peachy glow after each use.

Warning: If you have fairly sensitive skin, this is not the product for you.

More warning: If you are thinking, “Eeewww Avon” then GET OVER IT This stuff actually works!

I LOVE this stuff. I’ve been using the entire set (the scrub, the pads, and the lotion) since December, and the ONLY thing that has ever worked as well for me has been Accutane (and really, that stuff works great, but it’s pricey and carries a boatload of negative side effects). I just ordered one more of each today from the lovely Sleepy Avon Lady’s rep page :) Avon’s Clearskin Professional System is THE BEST!

And, haha, I know what you mean about the “Eeewww Avon” thing – I used to feel that way. I always thought of my granny and her big bottles of Avon bubble bath. Then, a little over a year ago, I was properly introduced to the world of Avon (you know – granny bubble bath aside) and I don’t think there’s any one “kind” of product I haven’t tried and/or regularly use – makeup, lotions, bath wash, smell goods – shoot, I even ordered the cutest spring jacket from Avon a few months ago, haha. Plus, their prices are ridiculously good, but even better is that Avon is a cruelty-free company – they don’t test on animals, and I never buy from companies that do. Avon and I are perfect for each other, lol.

I have horribly sensitive skin. I wish I could use stuff like that. :(
I do use Avon’s skin-so-soft as an insect repellent on my clothes. Smells so good!
