Dear Cosmos: Got Friday Wrong, AGAIN!

Friday again and raining AGAIN! Grumble, grumble.

Doesn’t mother nature know how Fridays are supposed to work?

Here is what is supposed to happen on Friday, every Friday:

You wake-up refreshed, rested and ready to start the day.
You open the window and let in the sun and cool morning air.
What’s that? Silence? You walk downstairs to find that your hubby fed the kids and left a nice breakfast warming on the stove for you before he left for work…
Your children are happy, smiling, and wanting for nothing but to spend the morning quietly and safely amusing themselves in their playroom.
Suddenly, the phone rings and it’s work telling you to take the day off — work is closed, just for the heck of it. (hey, while we’re dreaming, right?)
Now you have the day free! What to do? Oh, the phone rings again. It’s your aunt and she would like to come over and watch the children for the day because she misses them.
JACKPOT!
You got the greenlight for a full day of self-indulgence…
Got to the gym…
Visit the spa…
Top off your errands with some frivolous shopping…
And head home to a perfectly clean and content household (did I mention that your aunt has a penchant for cleanliness?)
By this time, hubby comes home with dinner and you are all set for a perfect Friday night.
