Mushroom Update

I did a little research today and unfortunately, the mushrooms that have taken over my walkway are POISONOUS. They fall into a category called “little brown mushrooms’ (which I think can also include the sinister kind if you catch my drift…)

Anyway, if it ever stops raining, I would like to go out and take a photo to document this, but in the meantime, check out this site I found:

Edible Mushrooms

Evidently, I had my understanding of mushrooms completely twisted. From the looks of it, the colorful/crazy-shaped ones are most likely edible (but don’t hold me to it).

Oh, and Marla, I agree that Papa Smurf would be soooo cool to have in the neighborhood but someone told me he’s retired now and working on his memoir. Too smurfin’ bad!
