STS: Shady Shades

This week’s Small Talk Six topic asks us to share what we’d want to be able to see if given a pair of magical sunglasses… (this is so appropriate for me because I am one of those people who wear sunglasses all the time).

I am also a naturally curious person and I like to have the secret upper hand on information. It’s sneaky, I know, but that’s how I roll. So, my concern is that given a pair of magical sunglasses, I would totally abuse my powers.

In the spirit of this imaginative exercise and assuming these are not crystal ball, see-into-the-future sunglasses, here’s what I’d like to see:

1. First thing’s first, I want to see myself back in my size 6 jeans.

2. Maybe I would want to see how certain people care for my child when I am at work… or maybe not… up for debate.

3. For obvious reasons, I’d want to play Deal or No Deal to see what’s behind each case, then head on upstairs to see who the heck that banker dude is…

4. I’d also like to see what Anna Wintour eats in a day –as I am convinced either she doesn’t or she’s a trigger-happy closet eater.

5. Then I want to be able to see inside that secret envelope left behind by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

6. I suspect my friend’s husband has some shady stuff happening on the side, so I guess I’d want to see what the hell he’s up to and nab his a$$ once and for all!

Oh, maybe there is some real good that can come of this…
