80-something across the street commented on: Bikini only worn in back yard, weird martial arts (playing pool), new paint etc. Found out she had binoculars next to the window. I started doing weird stuff just so she could have something to think about. Dancing while gardening, swinging upside-down from apple tree (I’m 50+), doing yoga wearing big stripey skirt, polka dot top and hat covered with flowery hat. I also put light blocking solid shades in my bedroom. She never mentioned another thing, just giggled like crazy. :)

I must confess I do like the shrub idea and would probably do it in your case. Mind you I love greenery in general. Sorry nosey neighbors are difficult.
