I find that mostly women are the chivalrous ones nowadays. Numerous times I've helped women juggling strollers / luggage up the stairs. And I'm first to give up my seat on the subway to an elderly person, or overtly pregnant woman, because sometimes it's just hard to tell if a woman is pregnant or just has a love fest with Twinkies (like I do). But when I hold the door open for you, please remember to say "Thank You"... I find manners are fleeting nowadays as well. I’m with you! I find that mostly women are the chivalrous ones nowadays. Seems like we took a step back when we took a step forward! Now we not only work, we cook, clean, mother, chauffer, do laundry, fix a busted tiolet, throw out garbage, do homework, and all while looking pretty! Shoot I'm worn out being treated equally! I say treat me unfairly and pull out my chair. LOL I TOTALLY feel the same way! Seems like we took a step back when we took a step forward!
